7 LOW CARB – KETOGENIC BREAKFAST IDEAS

 

CASSEROLE WITH TURKEY HAM AND SPINACH

Ingredients :

  • 12 eggs
  • 60 g cream
  • 250 g ricotta cheese
  • 300 g turkey ham
  • 250 g frozen spinach
  • Pepper and garlic
  • Salt to taste

Preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and start cutting ingredients. Separate 4 eggs and scramble  them, add cream, ricotta and mix the them well.

In another bowl,  scramble the rest of the eggs. Add up egg mixture, salt and garlic and stir them together. Then add the melted spinach and diced ham. Bake for about 35 minutes or until you get a nice color.

 

OMELETTE WITH SMOKED SALMON

Ingredients :

  • 3 eggs
  • 75 g smoked salmon
  • Coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Preparation :

Spray the pan with coconut oil and preheat it. During this time, scramble the eggs well so they can pour it on the pan and cover. When the eggs are almost over the top lay the slices of smoked salmon and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

 

KETO ZUCCHINI BREAD WITH WALNUTS

Ingredients :

  • 3 eggs
  • 80ml olive oil
  • Sweetener, optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 450g almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • 55g chopped walnuts
  • 70g grated zucchini

Preparation :Preheat oven to 180 degrees. In a bowl, scramble eggs, oil and vanilla extract. In another bowl, combine flour, sweetener, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Using cheesecloth strain grated zucchini well, to be so drought so they can whip the mixture with the eggs. While stirring, slowly add  the dry ingredients to this mixture. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the nuts on the top became brown.

AVOCADO STUFFED WITH TUNA

Ingredients :

  • 1 avocado
  • One can of tuna
  • 1 tomato

Preparation :

Cut avocado in half, remove their pit and spoon a little extra scoop out half of the avocado, so you have enough room for the stuffing. Press avocado with a fork, drizzle with lemon juice. Add tuna. Tomatoes cut into cubes and add at the top.

 

KETO PANCAKES

Ingredients :

  • 2 eggs
  • 225 g creamy fresh cheese
  • Stevia or another sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation :

All the ingredients put in a blender, mix well and leave to stand for 3 minutes to descend all the bubbles.  Bake as classical pancakes. When they are finish lubricate them with peanut butter and enjoy.

 

EGG AND VEGETABLES MUFFINS

Ingredients :

  • 6 eggs
  • Red pepper
  • 2 spring onions
  • Handful arugula
  • 150g turkey ham
  • Salt, pepper
  • Parsley

Preparation : 

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Scramble the eggs, cut the onions into slices, ham into cubes and add the chopped arugula. At the end add the spices and pour the mixture into molds for muffins. Bake for 30 minutes or until muffins get a nice golden color.

 

EGGS WITH BACON

Ingredients :

  • 2 eggs
  • 4-5 slices bacon

Preparation : 

In well-heated pan fry bacon until crispy. Then in the same pan fry eggs in traditional manner. No additional salt because the bacon is salt enough.
